Bird.m4aI hear it during the day but also at night- for the last few weeks - short tweet followed by a longer one then short again- some strange clicking/throaty sounds either side - can sound almost electronic in nature- tried all usual bird identifier material but have not found a replication, and have not been able to see the bird responsible so unfortunately cannot describe.
Without audio, its going to be very hard to identify.
My first thoughts, possibly dunnock, but I have my doubts. What might be worth visiting is the British Bird Song UK webpages, and if you know what birds are active in the area, start a search around those, listen to the various calls listed.
