what birdsong?

I don’t know if it is or not for sure but I think it sounds abit like a Song Thrush

Sounds like a Song Thrush to me with those repeated phrases. Good quality recording.

I was awoken at 5.20 this morning by the sound of the most exquisite bird song which I did not recognise. I looked into the garden but could not see any bird and realised that it must be on the roof above my open bedroom window. I was unable to record it but will do so if I am fortunate enough to hear it again. The song began in four parts and then trailed off with song - hope you understand what I mean here! The beginning of the song had an almost echoing sound to it. I would say that it was not too much unlike a blackbird but was definitely not a blackbird, I have spent hours this morning finding and listening to all the warblers’ songs, finches, you name it, I have been there, but nothing sounds like the bird I heard. Any ideas oils be most welcome.
