I have been delightedly watching the robins nest in my pegbag that hangs outside the back door. There were four big fluffy bundles alst week. Today I see they have left the nest, so I assuming they have fledged. Do they return to the nest at all, or will they sleep elsewhere from now on?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
On looking at different sites, No they will not return to the nest after fledging, they will stay about for around 3 weeks in the nearby trees and will be looked after mostly by dad, whilst mum starts a new nest. She may use the same nest but often a new one will be built, they can have upto 3 clutches a year.
