Hoverfly on Lace Hydrangea.

I think Sericomyia Lappona but would like an experts eye.

Just looked in my book, James, and it looks a perfect match to Sericomyia lappona. Very nice close up. Out of interest what is the flower it's feeding on?

Hi Tony - It's a Lace Hydrangea, spread across a wall in my garden - 30ft tall and 10ft across.
