Same type of frog?

What country are you in?

Belgium, 3 miles from zeebrugge.

It looks like the Edible Frog (Common Water Frog).

You think both are the same? They look different in colour and markings. Apart from the bright green stripe down the back. I thi k the greener pic looks more like this www.wikiwand.com/.../Pool_frog

In France ( & maybe the rest of europe too) the Green frogs are a mixture of species that can't be identified by sight or photo & they interbreed so there are cross-overs. I found this which is in French fr.vikidia.org/.../Grenouille_verte_(Europe)
