The pair showed up on 13th March & were checking out the nest - here's hoping..............
Have posted all I've taken today, unedited, as I'm so excited!!! They both flew off & now Mr Kestrel has returned to nest & sitting, waiting like a spider in the middle of a web! Just going to video him

Thanks Higgy - Mr K in the nest hole from very early this morning - grainy pic taken through mini-blizzard (keeps snowing here, when will it ever go away!)...
Constantly watching for signs that Mrs K is in the nest!
Yes we even had some snow flurries earlier also, unbelievable isn't it!?..
Good job he's got some shelter there!...
So glad to hear Mr. K. is back from Amsterdam LOL, hope he enjoyed his flight Wendy and is now getting back to his important duties after some R & R - keep the updates coming, loving it !
ps, Freezing cold here the last few days but at least sunshine and blue sky.

Update for Saturday 6th April - Sun is shining & Kestrels have put in an appearance.....
Saw Mr K quite early this morning in nest hole - grainy shot for ID only....
Another Kestrel flew to nest but not sure which one...but no fighting & I assumed Mrs K...
Then got this grainy shot of Mrs K in nest hole...
Then I was pre-occupied playing 'nursey' & had to go out for a few hours - when I came back there was a Kestrel in the nest but it flew off as I was setting up cam - then I spotted Mr K in the 'loving tree'.....
Was able to get outside for these shots - what a difference it makes plus he was nearer!!
So..... I still don't know if she is in the nest or not - no sign of him bringing food! Come on you two - make babies!!!!!!!
I didn't realise that D! There seems to be activity in the nest - just a while ago I saw Mr. K looking out again & then pottering back inside - did this several times & then flew off - missed that shot of course grrrrrrr) but here's another grainy one for ID & time of day (16.51) ...
