The pair showed up on 13th March & were checking out the nest - here's hoping..............
Have posted all I've taken today, unedited, as I'm so excited!!! They both flew off & now Mr Kestrel has returned to nest & sitting, waiting like a spider in the middle of a web! Just going to video him

Just followed your link from DP Wendy. Lovely to see them again. Super photographs and in such cold weather. Thanks.
they are wonderful pics WendyB
Absolutely outstanding pics WENDY
No sighting today until just before 2pm when I saw Mrs K in the nest hole - weather was atrocious, sleet/snow/hail/rain & start over again & terrible conditions for taking pics, so only a couple of postable but still horrible shots of such a cute bird...
She didn't stay for long & never came back - so no eggs yet then!! No sign of Mr K at all!
Thank you all for your encouraging comments!!
Gosh Wendy, I do love the Kestrel updates; hoping Mr. K comes back and hope your weather is kinder tomorrow ! It was bitterly cold in London yesterday and today but going back to the milder North tomorrow ROFL

Hi Wendy, hope it's nicer weather for you now, you too Hazy! :-) Love the updates
No show today I'm afraid - weather is wierd - several sudden whiteouts interspersed with bright sunshine & more predicted overnight - not good news for any of our nesting birds!!
Thanks for keeping us updated anyway WendyB - lets keep fingers crossed that the weather improves very soon for all our nesting birds!!
Happy Easter Day greetings from my Kestrel pair .....
Mr K in the nest waiting for his mate, but she had flown...
Came back later to telegraph pole to eat his breakfast though I didn't see what it was (fortunately)...
Think he likes being a video 'star' - good job he can't see how misty it is (through the window again!)....
Mrs K was here briefly but pics of her were rubbish & there is no indication that she is in the nest on eggs!!
