Jeez that's another year gone already , which also means am a year older and meant to be wiser
Not much has changed in the garden, it's baltic here as usual but no snow sadly .
My daddy fox buggered off before just before Christmas and returned 2 nights ago looking for his Xmas dinner.....yes it was all in the freezer and I gave him a piece of my mind as he sad there looking lovely
Well a canny be mad at him for long
Then onto a few of my birdie visitors, got quite a few BBs the now so the thrushes are constantly being chased out the garden when they stop chasing each other...always a drama ut then this one likes to stay close to me cos it know am gonna throw some seeds for him
Och that will do for now before you all fall asleep.
Thanks for following my garden over the years, so excited to what may turn up this year

Well hello again. A great start to your 2025 thread. You have that Fox's ruined, his dinner in the freezer! Nice to see Ringo the woodie again. Looking forward to seeing what will turn up this year? I had a flock of long tailed tits, last week, flew in and off again, on their annual visit, same thing happened last year. Also yesterday I had a brambling, not seen here often, but again, visits in the winter.
My Rocky Robin, as you suggested he was named, now hand feeds. He will sit and take a few suet pieces and loves to sit and mooch around in the garage. He is there as soon as the door is up, if not, I shout, and he is there, cheeky as you like. I am so delighted. If anyone heard me when I fed him and spoke to him, they would think me loopy!!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
