Down the Trailway (4th Catchup) 26/11/2024

"Two days in a row?" I hear you cry, "I know!" says I, "And weather not bad?", "It made I glad" "Then stop faffing and post some pictures!"

Managed to snap my first Wren in a while, but without the editting software it would have been a shadowy blob on some shadowy sticks!

A couple of times this Kestrel flew over my head from behind,

Still suffering with swathes of fields being lake-like

But the sun was still out. It's amazing the different feelings you have with a bit of sunshine

The Kestrel on patrol again, this time coming in to perch

A more mechanical bird, one of quite a few this day

Don't often see Treecreepers along the Trailway, so was pleased to get a couple of shots

And then flitty flutterer put in an appearance, and also a coal tit, so I wasn't sure where to point the lens!

It eventually came out of full shadow!

Next step on my editting journey.... removal of stuff that's in the way!

Downsize of the big prime, is when something big and low flies over, you can't get it all in!! (uncropped!)

Some gorgeous colours iridescing.... I then went *** over tit catching my foot in a tangle of bramble as I stepped down the little bank I was on. I saved the camera and lens, and I'm glad no one was there to laugh at my faceplant Smiley

A slightly smaller fly over mechanical bird

This was how I felt a few minutes earlier... Great Tit Joy

A bit concerting that over the Dorset countryside, they fly the choppers with guns dangling out the door!

Red Kite (out of shot being chased by a crow)

Another to add to the Green Woodpecker portfolio

I wondered if the flock this belonged to were Linnet, whilst I was out, but Meadow Pipit i think in retrospect

A couple of Pied Wagtails were in the flooded field as I got back to the car park.

I think that's the Trailway's all caught up, a Ferrybridge and Poole Harbour trip to do (just to warn you Smiley)

Again, I hope the sunshiney shots brighten your day

Stay Safe All
