These photos were all taken from our lounge window over a period of 5 days and I wonder why the feeders aren't being used!
Spot the birdie in the tree, only caught this one as I. saw a fast movement in the corner of my eye & scanned the bushes & trees at the bottom of the garden.
the tree is one of a few deciduous conifers.
A few days later again a fast movement across the garden and found this one on the garden fence having caught a Blue Tit I think. Picture quality not great as looking through double glazing at a very sharp angle & not help by long grass seed fronds waving in front.

The next day another visit by a different Sparrowhawk. Impossible to focus on this to begin with as well hidden in a Silver Birch on a gloomy day.
This one taken from another window giving slightly better view.
It then flew down to another branch in the open but with its back to us.
Now I know why the feeders have been empty.
Nice set of shots Tony, I haven't had a chance of any shots recently, just a whizz as they shoot past the window

I've heard some excuses, Tony.... In fact, I've USED most of them lol
Fabulous visitor to get
A lovely visitor to get, if only they would pass through and not take a meal with them! Little wonder no one is about, they are all taking cover!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
