Me and the better half had our first visit to Ham Wall in Somerset on Friday.
We went in search of Hobbys, but had no luck. We were happy to see Marsh Harriers though! A first for me.
The pictures were my first attempt at manual focus, so not great results. It was a cloudy day also.

Here are a couple more -
They seem OK - its interesting that you say manual focus. If you are using manual focus then they are pretty good for birds in motion pictures.
Do you know that if you have a lot of pictures, you can drag them from your directory and drop them into the thread . It doesn't work 100% of thebtime and your pictures will appear in reverse order but it does help if you have lots to upload.
As Linda says, good to hear from you again, and a nice set of photos.
