So this is an Ivy Boring Beetle which goes by the fancy pansy latin name of ‘Ochina Ptinoides ‘ ( try saying that after a couple of beers ! ) I photographed this on our Ivy ( no surprise there I guess ) A very tiny beetle that is only 0.098 - 0.138inch in proper measurements or 2.5 - 3.5 mm in metric. Its Quite widely common in the U.K and Europe . I find most of my macro subjects on Ivy to be honest, its a terrific plant to find insects and such.
Amazing detail on such a teeny tiny beetle, thanks Coldeb

Many Thanks Wendy
Many thanks BD, thats one of the reasons I love doing Macro, you get to see all that detail that you miss with the naked eye.
