I have missed you all so much (its true) and when I came across this bird today I thought I need to share with all my forum mates (if I have any left lol)
So at first I heard an unknown sound but couldn't spot a bird and then high at the top a was thinking is that a Robin?? ...it was cold and drizzly and wind was blowing so I am blaming that on my 1st thoughts.

Hope you are all well and have had a lovely Easter...no this is no April Fool I did see a Crossbill ;-)
Sorry I have no idea how to enlarge the photos so a take it we are still in the S*** with the forum!!??
(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
Aww thanks Wendy, I should have said it was from my reserve that would have been a good April Fool but I had to go to Moffat for this one..brought him back with me though ....naturally
Sorry, a correction to my Cream Egg bargain. They were 5 for £1.50 not 5 for £1.00. I've been told a million times not to eggsaggerate ...
Sorry for that error Linda but surely only a matter of time before you get one in your garden, have you planted the appropriate tree yet?

Trees and plants are all struggling here as it is....boggy land!!!
happy easter Linda. I been wanting to say happy easter to everyone aswell. I not been sure weather to make posts until after the sites downtime or not. I said it on a post instead but did it for the RSPB and the community aswell so unlike you I didnt do it in the most traditional way but theres nothing wrong with that
those are very good photos. iv mainly just spent easter with my family on Sunday then I had a easter egg hunt today for easter I was looking for easter eggs but mainly spotted 2 ladybeetles and 2 ladders they arnt easter eggs and the ladybeetles wernt what i was there for but i did look for and find all the easter eggs
Same to you Zo, glad you had a nice time
thanks
it didnt want me to quote you for some reason so Iv just copyed and pasted your quote to reply to instead. hopefuly a ladybeetle ismt trapped in the quoting system and it escapes safely so that the quoting system works again
otherwise it will be up to the RSPB to get the beetle out thats stuck in the quoting system while there working on the improvements
Hi Zo, I have found for quoting if you highlight the words in the message you want to quote - by holding your left mouse key and dragging across it on a pc, a quote message appears. Then click on the 'Quote' message and it is inserted in your reply. It might be a bit different on a tablet, but it's a start ... . Glad you had a good Easter ...
mmmmm .... my favourite ...
Great capture Linda, and a very impressive bird. Would be shouting from the rooftops myself with that find. Hope you had a nice Easter.
