Hello everyone, just thought I would share some of the photos I took of wildlife seen whilst in Centre parks, Whinfell forest last week. I’m surprised at the ability of my iPhone when the ducks get close up, though they have nothing in a professional camera, I wasn’t expecting this quality of photos!:)
featured: mallard male and female, tree creeper, robin and not birds but a red squirrel and a European hare
Hi Emma and welcome to the forum, many thanks for sharing your lovely pics, Whitnell Forest looks to be a great place for holidaying and wildlife sightings ... if you have any more pics we'd love to see them!

Thank you Wendy! It was great, though I never saw one, I could hear tawny owls super close to our lodge at night which was amazing!
They are notoriously difficult to spot in daytime unless someone knows where they are nesting!
Such a shame, they’re beautiful birds!
Hello Emma, welcome to the community. You did very well getting set up here, expecially at this time when we are all struggling with this latest update. Great photos as well, thanks
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Thank you !:)
If you look up Robert Fuller on the web he has a live Tawny Owl cam in Ash Wood ... amongst many others, really good to follow!
