It's well overdue for starting. This is the link to last years thread
Butterflies and Moths 2023
There haven't been a lot of butterflies around here this year so far. The earliest was a fresh Red Admiral on the 3rd of january
Since then I've seen a Speckled Wood & Peacock. There have been Brimstone's about but I haven't seen them. Plenty of time left in the year to go chasing butterflies.
Best wishes

Thanks Linda yes I hope so.
Thanks SnappyMac I've seen your skipper photos they are great.
Lovely shots Germain
Have seen lots of a few species about. Saw one tatty silver washed fritillary. Here they are in no particular order.
Nice varied set Mr Kes, we had a fresh looking Frit land in the garden Saturday, for all of about 10 seconds, but my camera was inside unfortunately. Comes to something when Frits outnumber peacocks and red admirals lol. Thanks for sharing :o)
Nice set of pics Mr Kes.
A nice collection Mr Kes. I have still never seen a fritillary

Super photos, and a pleasure to see.
As for butterflies and moths here, they are almost like rocking horse manure, even the scarlet tiger moths have vamoosed!
