I looked for this year's thread which doesn't seem to have been started yet as it will be a few weeks before we see some of the young birds ......
so will start of 2024 with one of the first young to appear - a rather cute wild "funny wabbit" which was one of two kits seen. Only record pic taken through window.

The sun was out, so were the housemartins, and I don't think I've ever seen so many. Virtually ALL nests were active, and I don't think it'll be long before this one fledges
These aren't quite ready to fledge
yes, there are two chicks to be fed.
These could be very young, the parents are going into the nest to feed them
just before the tail disappears

It was one of those very rare sunshine days.....
Rubbish pic through grubby window and from camera screen but just seen a late brood of Goldfinch being fed by adult. !
I know they can have hatchlings as late as September but this was a lovely surprise this morning ! 4 juveniles.
