I looked for this year's thread which doesn't seem to have been started yet as it will be a few weeks before we see some of the young birds ......
so will start of 2024 with one of the first young to appear - a rather cute wild "funny wabbit" which was one of two kits seen. Only record pic taken through window.

Well captured Scozmos. Always great to get a first ...
A young Goldfinch, one of two which visited our balcony today; this one was quivering its wings, begging it's parents for food as they were on the sunflower heart feeder below the railing ......
Aw ... Beautiful little bird Hazy. Hope it's parents shared the sunflower hearts ...
A real cutie aitch, thanks for sharing
I'd bet the parents didn't feed it. They've brought it to somewhere of food availability, and then it is a steep learning circle for the fledgling.
(My observations might indicate that nuthatches do similar).
Thanks SM. Bit of RSPB common close to where I live in Devon. Aylesbeare Common. Plenty of them every year. Very lucky.
Thanks BD. Catchlight was a bonus. Looks like an edited one but it’s not. Honest!
