I looked for this year's thread which doesn't seem to have been started yet as it will be a few weeks before we see some of the young birds ......
so will start of 2024 with one of the first young to appear - a rather cute wild "funny wabbit" which was one of two kits seen. Only record pic taken through window.

Yes its a funny one MrsEd.
Mandarins relaxing in a field yesterday.
That's a cracker Bob. All in view, and all looking the same way ...
I heard the call of a wren and when I looked a bit closer, I realised it was a young one. Maybe that’s why it didn’t move as quickly as an adult would. This is the actual colouring (without filters, enhancements etc).
Lovely additions Bob and Kevin, thanks
Ah, so THAT's what the front of a wren looks like I only ever seem to catch the back of one. Have never seen a young one, how lovely. Thanks Kevin.
Thank you and yes, Bob’s photo is lovely indeed
Thank you and I know what you mean. They are incredibly difficult to catch. The young ones are a bit more inquisitive, aren’t they? Those few extra moments make all the difference
Well done Kevin ;-)

You can just see the young coaltit hiding
