Back to Dumfries and Galloway

So after SnappyMac  posting his lovely red squirrel pic....I WANTED ONE lol

Today it was dry so off we went down to Threave Gardens & Nature Reserve where SM recommended.

We chose to visit the nature reserve 1st....

Some nice views of the castle  although its not accessible

I must admit it's a lovely reserve but felt I left more in the garden than I saw here :-(

Ano am spoilt!!!

It was a nice walk anyhow and saw a Buzzard on way back to the car

And some nice cows

So back in the car and a few minutes later we were walking up the forest in hope of seeing the Red Squirrels. 

And we were not disappointed.....

And this one is my favourite as it was the very 1st one I took

Mission accomplished ;-)
