Spam-tastic

So after having a wee look at the latest spammers it was alarming to discover 12 folk joined a day ago as you can see

Out of these 12 folk 8 are spam!!!..just because some don't post a link it's all there on their "about" page !!

It's ridiculous that these all go undetected unless by the RSPB 

It's like a free advertising place for anything and everything 

From Essay writing to Escorts!!

It's a disgrace

    Our herring gulls are red listed birds.  Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

    In reply to I think Thomo's question, regarding Osprey followers or Ospreyholics, as we call ourselves, I am an RSPB member and have been since joining this community, to be honest I can't recall exactly, it must be around 10 years?

    Regards the names when being quoted. Mine comes up as Lynn L, not my name or initials at all. Zo actually spoke about this to me the other day, when she quoted me, and wondered why the name? After some searching there were 2 Catlady's at one point and 1 Lynn L, all not used in years. My guess was that when I joined Catlady and the others were inactive, I could use that name and with this fan dobby dosy IT system, it quotes me as Lynn L!! Probably not right at all, but it is what it is and folks hopefully know its me.

    She was big mates with Judi Mahon and went on holidays together and she left about the same time, I would have to look on Flickr to see if she's still posting.

    Judi was still posting up until 2020 - I used to enjoy her visits to the Island - she always found something exciting and Dave was an excellent spotter

    We all do Caroline when real life gets in the way I've had a couple of years off flikr and are now finding it hard to get my mojo back

    Judi is still about, I see her on several Facebook groups up here and she still looks at Flickr.
