Last Saturday I went to a favourite place on the Suffolk Coast to try for some action shots of Swallows. The birds were showing well and the sunshine brought the best out of their colours, these are just a few of the best shots I managed.
One bird landed on a gate rather than the wire fence or concrete and I only realised later that that wasn't the only thing different about it, the only Sand Martin I noticed and sadly it flew directly away from me.
Beast Wishes,
Trevor.
(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
Guess a will need to get some wired fencing in place around my local area to entice them to settle for 2 seconds ...not that I have seen any swallows yet lol... Whats not to like Trevor...always a pleasure ;-)
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
