Not much to take at the moment, so I did a bit of macro with this Carpet Beetle lava that I found. It was about 4mm long. (Just moved this to the correct category)

Thanks Wendy. I've seen a few adult Carpet Beetles, but I have never seen a lava before ...

They like wool carpets and dead things - Dermestid Beetle - the adult looks a bit like an odd ladybird - can turn up if you have 'things' in the chimney i.e. jackdaws nest
