After yet another successful year on the Odds & Sods thread, initially started I think by Hazy, it might be wise to kickstart the 2023 thread off.
Thank you to those who have contributed to last years thread, and there has been very interesting odds and sods in "Odds & Sods 2022" that aren't enough to place into a dedicated thread, which you can look back on the following link:

What better for me, and as yet, I've not ventured far, ewe know what I mean, with this lassie on Baddesley Clinton estate yesterday....

Here we have Lieutenant Pigeon attempting a maneuver with a difficulty of 2.1. My nemesis pigeon balancing itself on my MKII birdfeeder.
Oh, yes! The judges will be pleased with this effort. A perfectly executed Swallow dive. Gold beckons.
Single presses of shutter release. I simply wanted a photo of the thing somehow balancing on a thin wire. How do they do it? Sheer luck with the diving shot that I pressed shutter release at right time.
Not been in up in the Peaks for a few weeks so made a change this morning. A few woodland red deer, maybe not as nice a surrounding as the moors but a whole lot closer and exciting to come across. When the see you they go like statues and I've probably walked passed loads without knowing they were there.
Starting to grow the velvet covered antlers.
A young one.
A prickett, still to cast off his antlers (well what there is of them). His day will come.
A hind, watching me carefully as I pass. They'll soon be having their young (calves rather than fawns for the red deer apparently) who will be left alone, dotted around in the undergrowth.

They do have there own terms oddly from other deer, not sure why. Stag = Buck, Hind = Doe and Calf = Fawn. At the end of the day it doesn't really matter, they are all beautiful, although saying you saw a huge Stag sounds more impressive than saying you saw a huge Buck lol.
