After yet another successful year on the Odds & Sods thread, initially started I think by Hazy, it might be wise to kickstart the 2023 thread off.
Thank you to those who have contributed to last years thread, and there has been very interesting odds and sods in "Odds & Sods 2022" that aren't enough to place into a dedicated thread, which you can look back on the following link:

Roe buck in the local valley having a munch in a field early yesterday morning. I prefer them to the red deer I usually post as they are a lot more elusive. This one took a good 2 minutes to suss I was on the footpath and then "boing" he was over a fence and disappeared.
(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
They do spook easy Linda. It took me 2 years after seeing my first one in the valley to see another one... I thought I had been going mad and my eyes had deceived me. Now I know the valley a lot better and see them sometimes from afar but it's always a real treat to turn a corner and spot one relatively close.
Lovely shots ILR. I s that the Kilnsey near Skipton, as in Kilnsey Cragg and all that? And I love the Highland Cow too, they always make great photos ...
Hi BD Kilnsley is close to spurn point on the Humber estuary.if you go on the internet and enter Kilnsea wetlands nature reserve. The Highland Cow was at spurn point near the Reception/Cafe. we then went to Kilnsea, we actually passed the car park for Kilnsea before we got to spurn point. Glad you liked the photos.
