After yet another successful year on the Odds & Sods thread, initially started I think by Hazy, it might be wise to kickstart the 2023 thread off.

Thank you to those who have contributed to last years thread, and there has been very interesting odds and sods in "Odds & Sods 2022" that aren't enough to place into a dedicated thread, which you can look back on the following link:

What better for me, and as yet, I've not ventured far, ewe know what I mean, with this lassie on Baddesley Clinton estate yesterday....

Nextdoor's cat used to treat our garden as its own. It still uses it but it doesn't bother the birds or hedgehogs. I have seen it chasing mice though. Thankfully I've never seen rats, I think the numerous cats that are in the area keep them at bay.

Lucky you Stephen!! How adorable is this little one..I used to have up to three hogs come into my garden. I put food out every night. Unfortunately my neighbours got a dog and I think she scared them away :-(...I still try and check just in case..... but so far no one has showed up. Lovely photo... well caught

One night last summer I saw 4 in the garden at the same time. Hopefully they are still about this year.

Unfortunately next door's cat is a bird eater. It is let out early before I get up and hides behind my garage. We have no problem from about 8.00am because Billy chases it off! He waits behind the back door ready for the command. He has no chance off catching it, but it gets the cat away. The birds are used to Billy, they pick food up from the floor near him and he just watches them.
