After yet another successful year on the Odds & Sods thread, initially started I think by Hazy, it might be wise to kickstart the 2023 thread off.
Thank you to those who have contributed to last years thread, and there has been very interesting odds and sods in "Odds & Sods 2022" that aren't enough to place into a dedicated thread, which you can look back on the following link:

What better for me, and as yet, I've not ventured far, ewe know what I mean, with this lassie on Baddesley Clinton estate yesterday....

This was fun this morning. The cheeky little robin was hiding in the tree by the feeder waiting for an unspecting visitor to arrive, then it would dive-bomb them and chase them off!
It did this several times until this happened ....
Then it didn't bother ...

Frosty morning - about -6C last night. Jay looking for food our feeding station.
90% luck, 5% field craft, 5% camera skills.
Nice photos of the jay.
We were only slightly warmer, -5.1ºC the previous night, and snow this morning.....
PimperneBloke said:I'll have to come and visit Angus, as I've yet to get a decent shot of a jay, and Linda is a smidge to far north lol
We have a jay that is seen quite regularly at Brandon Marsh, though it's not been seen this last week looking at the sightings.....
