After yet another successful year on the Odds & Sods thread, initially started I think by Hazy, it might be wise to kickstart the 2023 thread off.
Thank you to those who have contributed to last years thread, and there has been very interesting odds and sods in "Odds & Sods 2022" that aren't enough to place into a dedicated thread, which you can look back on the following link:

What better for me, and as yet, I've not ventured far, ewe know what I mean, with this lassie on Baddesley Clinton estate yesterday....

I couldn't be bothered with getting the R5 out, and connecting the lens up, Mrs PR's phone was at my fingertips, so not a good photo, but one of the local cats has taken to nestling in the lavender close to a feeder, which is top left of the photo.....

I'm not sure a holly bush would survive there, it's a raised plant bed and the soil is less than 12 inches deep. It'is nature, and the birds always manage to outwit the local cats.
Plus, it helps to keep the birds weight in check, while puddy's there, they're not stuffin' their faces.....
There is much squirrel activity in the garden - I think I counted 5 the other day, at least 3 young males, one has been showing up at breakfast. He has fallen out of the feeder a couple of time due to over enthusiastic digging through the food looking for choice bits
