Well captured Zo ...
Thanks. I had to sneak up to it luckily I managed to get enough photos before one of the dogs shot passed behind me and ran though. I stopped taking photos when I heard the dog running in my direction so it happened out of shot it took less than a second for the dog to pass cause it was so fast the dog disappeared but I managed to switch to film mode and press the button in time and filmed it perched and then fluttering from the stem onto the other grass stem immediately after if you would like to see it. Of course it would be better if the dog didn’t startle it but it’s still just as colourful and nice to watch on film Since it’s a dog field it might be used to dogs running around( if ) it visits often. I can’t say weather it does or not cause this is the first time iv seen a meadow brown there at that specific location but you never know Would you like to see the film?
Nice one Zo. I am hopeless at video ...

Nice one Zo:
Thanks for the compliment
filming like taking pictures and I do take lots of both even though I send lots of photos. And Even If your good at something it’s good to work on your strengths. For instance no matter how good I am at something. or as good as I am at something I still improve every single year so even though I’m Very good at photography I get better and better at what I’m very good at so don’t stop improving
you never stop learning and learning can be fun sometimes too. People still learn from exspeariances and improve cause they gain even more exspeariances in life no matter how good they are and no matter what there skills or exspetise etc no matter what your age, gender, background, skill level and exspertise or anything else you never stop learning and improveing as long as you keep at it and keep doing what you love.
with your photos your good at taking photos so even if you think your hopeless at film your still good at taking photos that’s the main thing.
Sometimes film can be helpful when a photo just wont do it for a certain situation sometimes so even if you think your hopeless it might still be worth trying and practicing one day so you could try a shot at a perched butterfly opening and closing its wings or feeding. Or other still organism feeding. then go onto filming more active Wildlife when your more confident I would definitely be interested in it if you do try one day even though you said your hopeless at filming.
Iv seen your photos and you are good at taking pictures like the others. Cause you never stop learning your good at taking pictures now you could well be even better in the future cause there’s no limit to your skill. keep up the good work and doing what you love no matter what.
I went to Frocester hill yesterday where I havnt been for a month now but I didn’t see any butterflys I have seen them in Kingsway and at the stream and the orchard in the local area though. I havnt had another butterfly since that cabbage white and speckled wood but yesterday I saw a moth and this morning seen a butterfly pass over the garden.
