Now What Did I Go Out Looking For Today?

So was up earlyish today and hubby said we'll its your day what you wanna do....let's go to the Haugh in search of ???

Was just before 9 when we arrive in the ice rink  carpark ..was -2 outside brrrr

Sunrise to the left

And the moon on the right as we headed into the 1st hide

Who's stupid idea was this me asks myself 

Absolutely nowt hear...well that a could see anyhow so off to the next hide

Sun was blinding but beautiful 

Shiver shiver as we watched the distant birds

Take a bow Mr Lapwing 

Wee Jenny was flittering about 

Then right under my dripping nose... there it was

my special Birthday Present

My 1st ever Water Rail..well there was 2 lol

Ain't it brilliant when you set out in search of something and yet get it!!!

Needless to say we headed straight back up the icy path to the car

Mission accomplished. Next time a may wait an extra hour for the mist/ fog to lift .
