Smashing shots Linda, while we have breeding Kingfishers on the banks of the three rivers surrounding Ripon but we have not seen them very often this year. I hope it is just a case of us not beingin the right place at the right time. Another bird we can never get too many of.

Thanks BD...only got one of the reflection so guess it was a lucky shot lol...we just sat on the river bank and it turned up right across from us ;-)

Cheers Pete..It amazes me the amount of people that walk over the bridge and never even stop to look around...I think it's officially my Kingfisher lol.....I am even learning to listen out for its call now!! Fingers crossed you get to see yours at some point ;-)

Both Chris and myself find it almost impossible to cross a bridge and not stop and look over the parapet. This probably stems from when I was a keen angler
