Having followed all the trials & tribulations on X as they were unfolding it certainly showed just how different a season this was at Kingston ... have to say a heartfelt 'well done MC' as you dealt with all the tragedies and great that there were two healthy fledglings at the end of it all plus of course the amazing male & a new partner who we hope will be a successful pair next year ... such a stressful time for you, trust you are having a more peaceful time now!

Have a pair of Buzzards around home today. They are magnificent!! Lovely weather too. A cropped picture of one as the bird was some distance away and right at the magnification limit of my lens at 500mm. Hope they come closer.
Lovely photo Ed, nice detail.
Fabulous photo Ed
Crackin' shot Ed. Great detail in the feathers and focus on the eye ...
Pure blinking luck BD.
Great shot Ed.
Surely not you Ed ...
Just a quick grab and photo of a buzzard in a field at the Seal Sanctuary, Gweek, Cornwall.
Now free time is becoming a bit available, I'll get round to compiling a report.

I remember visiting the seal sanctuary at Gweek many years ago and recall that compared to other tourist places I visited in the area it was pretty expensive to get in. There was quite a queue, which was funnelled in to a point of no escape, before we found out how much it was, and on the way round there were also collection boxes. We did have a lovely time, but I recall it was expensive. If I go again, hopefully there will be a pensioners discount ... .
