More lovely pics Gaynor...not too sure you inflght flocks are Linnets...look a tad too big me thinks...perhaps carrotbills but them am probability completely way off the mark lol...cracking pony though...wish we had wild ponies here...keep up the good camera work ...your doing well ;-)

Thank you Hazy, yes we had a good evening out plus nice meal, hard to get all family together at one time, I'm sure everyone is the same. You will have to get back over this way again, there are two Ospreys around I hear, one near Newborough and the other over at the Spinnies, unless people are wrong and it is just the one travelling around!!
Thanks Linda, I thought the flock were linnets as followed them on camera and thought they then perched on a bush fairly near me, I am so often wrong that I'm thinking of suggesting the birds carry labels so that I can know for certain!

Osprey's are a majestic looking bird, after seeing my first up in Scotland back in May, not just at Loch Garten, but also flying over another Loch further in the Highlands.

That's another lovely set of photos added Gaynor, and Newborough is a place I've still yet to visit. The nearest being Newborough Model Village, nice, but not quite the same...

Sat beside a stream running down to the sea yesterday and was joined by this Pied Wagtail, thought you might like the sequence.

What a thrill to sit there and see that :-)
