Depriving the fishermen of Rainbow Trout :)

In Wensleydale where the N.Yorkshire Ospreys bred this year, the landowner put extra stock of Rainbow Trout into one of their fishing ponds to encourage the Ospreys to stay and breed and it worked. It also eased the pressure off the wild bred Brown Trout as they are getting scarecer in the local river. A great set of Osprey photos thanks for posting them

Wow Bob, I'm so envious, what a wonderful sight. Glad to see a fish was caught, even though water low, maybe because water low.....
