An hour on Inner Farne.
Well spotted for the "bridled" Guillemot:o)
When we were there the one of the wardens said about a potential lack of sand eels for the puffins, but yours seem to be coming back with proper beakfuls, good to see :o)
Thanks for sharing

I bought an old Police Box at a reclamation/antique centre and found it could do extraordinary things
A good selection of photos Bob.
I do think puffins are funny when the take flight, with that run/paddle type start.....

Good question - I don't know but I suspect it was. It was in the St Cuthbert Chapel on the Island but I didn't spend time reading the paperwork - only an hour on the islands these days so no time to waste.
There's a very good chance it was St Cuthbert, he was active on the Farne Islands, hence the Chapel of St Cuthbert, likewise on Lindisfarne, and similar images of St Cuthbert are visible there as well.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
