Finally dug the camera out of the cupboard and decided to test out two new lenses .............. mine. !! eyes can certainly see a lot better since both eyes had multifocal lens replacement but the camera seems like an alien being. ! First practice ...........
focus wasn't perfect on this one but I liked the open wings. !
This one is a cropped version of the photo I put up on photobombing thread ......
The birds are raiding the live mealworms with so many young to feed but there are three Blue Tit broods that have already fledged within the last two days :)

lol Ann, believe it or not I'm not currently considering taking the camera gear this time as I think I'd just like to enjoy the birds through binoculars and hand feed those confiding LM birds; decision sort of pending. LOL.

practicing for the Royal Ballet .........
oops, not much grip on the balcony railings !

Lot to learn
Superb photo of the ballet dancer Hazel. I read your bit about leaving the camera at home. You know it is the best way to see wildlife. I once saw a Kingfisher sat on a branch for about 10 minutes within 3 metres of me - my camera was in the car ... . Other times I carry heavy gear for miles and see nothing !! I believe it's called sod's law ...
