Will be interesting to see what their punishment shall be!

  • if they have gone to prison hopefully that is a punishment enough to make them realise its not something to be taken lightly

  • In reply to Zo Clark:

They have only just been charged Zo so probably another 2 or 3 years before they are brought to court!

  • In reply to Linda257:

Hopefully they don’t do anything Like that again in the meantime since if it is another 2 or 3 years that is long enough for them to do something again If they were to contemplate it. If we are lucky then they wont do anything until they go to Court.
  • ‘Released pending further investigation’ is what regularly happens these days by all accounts.
  • Robbo I think many of our moorland keepers have that tattooed on their arm the way cases seem to vanish round here

Birding is for everyone no matter how good or bad we are at it,enjoy it while you can

  • The only time this country acts on sentencing very quickly is if the crown estate is the victim.

For those old enough to remember the sentences handed out to the Great Trim Robbers of 1965 and look at other robberies of similar ilk, but not on Crown Estate.

Even (sorry to drag this in to the thread) HS2 protestor convictions are processed very quickly, whereas other crimes seem to drag on.
