We have had to vacate using our pergola seating area as we have realise that a Wren has built a hanging nest wrapped up in the Clematis Montana growing over the structure.
Some how the Wren has pulled numerous strands of Montana together and woven a nest through it all to produce a hanging ball of a nest.
Whilst sat watching my wife managed to capture the Wren leaving the nest
We have now retired to another unshaded seating area away from the nest but one that we can observe from a distance, hopefully more pictures to follow when the rain allows sitting out again.
