Pair of Kestrels and pair of Pied Flycatchers

Beautiful set Bob. I see the Flycatchers both have rings... any info on them at all?

No info as I've not read the rings yet or reported them. However, there have been Pied flycatchers here for many years and it is a local wildlife trust nature reserve where they do ringing - so I wouldn't be surprised if they were actually ringed here.

Reason I asked is they've rung some on Portland too... Looking for a coincidence

I love both species Bob but I think the Kestrel shots are brilliant. We see plenty of Kestrels locally but I never tire of them. We are still looking for our first Pied Flycatcher of the year but they have been seen nearby. With a bit of magnification it should be possible to read at least one of the rings and report it to the BTO.
