Red Squirrel Kits - update

What a delight for you to be able to stand and watch them.....they are so cute ;-)

Wonderful to be able to stand and watch those little kits Caroline, very jealous but also glad that you are getting the chance to see them out and about enjoying themselves. It helps that you have that lovely Ash tree giving them all the shelter they need.

Our two regular greys have become one, so I suspect they have kits, though I doubt we'll see them, we've not seen any young kits here, its usually around adolescence we first see them.

They went MIA for a couple of days while they investigated the area but are back bouncing around and in and out of everything - I sat in the garden yesterday listening to things being poked and prodded while there was a chatter of commentary - so funny 

This one was sleeping like this for a good 1/2 hour 

I am going to have to make sure we remember to close the kitchen window otherwise somebody might just come in. Cotoneaster for breakfast.  I'm about to plant some sunflowers there for them and the birds 

So privileged to have these creatures visit
