The Swallow chicks, particularly the second one remind me of a row of choir boys ... are you allowed to say choir boys these days or should it be choir people ...

Oh dear, what a sad world we live in today, when you have to not only mind your P&Q's (pints and quarts for the younger generations, a term from a very long time back in the days of coaching inns and barroom brawls), but your PC&G's (political correctness and gender)as well!
Digressing, an interesting tale, whilst on a team supporting course at work (thankfully I'm now retired) many years ago, the course leader told us we cannot identify a "blonde lady", her words, not mine, by the colour of her hair, we must endeavour to find her name. Strangely enough, the course leader was a blonde!
Me being me, said "that also means that I (who had nice thick wavy dark hair back then), cannot be identified as that dark haired chap."
She did not take to that remark, and the following day, quite a discussion ensued. The five day course ended up as a three day course, and no further people went on it!

Juvenile starlings
The above photo, was originally the brood of four, sadly, we found a dead one in the garden, no sign of predation, just before the above photo was taken, which just three juv starlings flew up to the leylandii.
Just one of those things.
(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
Number 5 will be a big strong lad/lass if it keeps doing those chin ups ...
A newly fledged coat tit (I think)
