Painshill Park in Surrey is a landscape garden with a large lake, and the River Mole flowing past the boundary. There's a buzzard that has a regular beat over the scrub bordering the river, and there's now a resident little egret. Yesterday there were grey wagtails for the first time, too. Well worth a visit.

Lot to learn
Well if that is what you can achieve being new to birding, can't wait to see what has yet to come.
