Managed to catch a sparrow hawk in the act yesterday in the garden . The thing that amazed me about it was when it left the carcass I thought I would try and actually leave it out to see if the magpies wanted some , a couple of hours later the sparrow hawk returned to feed again . When it left I thought I would set up the trail cam to capture it if it came back . Well it did , 4 times in all , so far , even at night as Ide went out and totally forgot about it I even had a hungry hedge hog that fancied abit , this also surprised me , shouldn’t they be tucked up in a deep sleep ? This morning the sparrow hawk returned again .
