I am trying to work out how I have got to my 6th decade without knowing that weevils had wings
This little Dorytomus longimanus was pottering about the moth trap so I potted it for a closer look and wings appeared and it flew! I then re-captured it to watch for a while - fascinating to watch it tapping the surface with different feet and cleaning it's antenna. I have no idea how I thought they moved about
