Female Kingfisher

Nice shots Bob even if they make us a bit jealous,despite living near 3 rivers and a canal we have not seen Kingfisher for 2 years. It's not as though we have not tried,same applies to Dipper too.

Kingfisher are still quite scarce but fortunately our local river is awash with Dipper. Hoping the pair in the village breed under the bridge again this year.
