I decided to go and see if I could see the little egret, which I had seen a couple of times now down at the canal.
Unfortunately I didn't see it, but I did see lots of other birds
I think this is a greenfinch or chaffinch
A magpie on a roof
This one shows the wing pattern on this feral pigeon
Collared dove
An overhead jackdaw
Another collared dove
Wood pigeons might not be much to look at, but you can still get nice photos of them!
Some mallards were doing some nice posing
Mr.
Mrs.
And a close up
This last mallard picture was of a mallard that came out of the water and started following me, I don't know if it thought I had some food or what!
This coot was not coming out for a picture
I just missed this pigeon
The only decent picture I got of a Black-headed gull, or any gull for that matter
There were 3 dunnoks in a row I didn't get a picture of all of them though
A cropped photo
And one, not very good one, in flight
I still haven't got a good photo of a red kite, just a silhouette
And with a bit of lightening
A bit more of a photo friendly moorhen
And a relaxed wood pigeon
Streeetch
A friendly Robin
Some starlings flying in formation
A blackbird silhouette
A blue tit
And a long-tailed tit
A plane (not sure if it's a rare species or not)
And a sunset to finish off the day
Thanks for looking!
Regards
Benji

That looked a nice day out, and nice photos as well.
Your silhouetted blackbird could go in the Silhouette thread, which will give it a bit of a boost.
