Thanks for that Cin J. You could well be right. There was only the one on the hills in the middle of nowhere, I will have to go and find it again now, see if it has turned black. As you say it is a great site for id'ing 'shrooms - I will save it for future use. There is another one here worth a look at

I saw this Crayfish in the Leeds & Liverpool canal today. There were two of them close to the bank. The photos are a little hazy as they were about six inches underwater and the water is a bit manky ;-)
Successful Little Egret prowling the shoreline along from Poole Harbour, 3 catches in about 15 minutes as me and Mrs PB meandered along
