It's probably an ideal time to start the 2022 Odds & Sods thread off, with some squabbling starlings....

This pair of starlings were having a right old go at each other, whilst another nipped in to the coconut shell for a food

Lot to learn
gaynorsl said:Lovely to see the Hedgies Mike, and good also to see a couple of Blackbirds with your Magpie, very short on them over here at the moment.
Here's another short clip, this time with the night vision binoculars, this morning (Wed 30th March) around 05:00 in the garden.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
As others wishing you success with the ops, and good recovery Bless you, and you will be missed, but your health is so important.
I personally dont like this ageing thing...Grr!!!!
I saw this little chap today, have not seen any for a while so just had to snap with my mobile.so apologies .
Some more from the garden, but late yesterday evening, a magpie enjoying a splash....
I've not long downloaded the trailcam videos, and we have a very active hedgehog possibly more than one, we don't really know for sure. What we do feel is, there must be something really appetising considering it is spending long periods around the same area, and likewise foxes.
We do have a dog fox that visits, possibly more than one, but he/they rarely trundle much further up the garden so they don't trigger either of the two trailcams, but they do leave their scent, and always around the same area.
There are most likely two vixens looking at the mammary glands, though it could be the same vixen depending on how long before each video she had last fed her cubs.
Enjoy the short videos freshly uploaded to my Flickr pages, all around 10 secs each
