I have yet to venture out this year so it's just been me in my sparrowhawk hide (lol) aka Iona Summerhouse
So here's a few pics to kick off the new thread...hopefully get some new visitors this year..well I can live in hope ;-)

You're welcome.
The wind here has been blustery for a few days, but nowhere near as bad as Cornwall and N Wales have had it.
Linda257 said:It was quite windy during the night and just rain on and off today but now trains and busses have cancelled as of 3pm...let's just say the trees are dancing!!! It's gonna be a long night!
I don't envy you or anyone else caught in the ensuing storms.
I'll never forget the time I doubled guyed my tent based on cloud watching, no storms had been forecast, but we were high up and vey open, and my friend single guyed his. Both tents were taking a battering, the poles twisting under the force of the wind.
My tent stayed put, just, his almost took off!, with him clinging.
We grabbed his tent, wrapped it up any old how, and shared my tent.
That was some night, but to move would have been more challenging, there was no way we could pack tents up in that wind.
But it stayed dry.....

I guess I'm a bit of a nutter, at times, not all the time mind, just very occasionally....
