Today a large flock of 40 or so Redwings descended on the fields around our local parkland and although they were pretty skittish and distant I hard cropped a few pics for you ....
and a blue tit landed nearby !

Hey up - I go off for a few days and return to see a fully suited up person gas mask in place!!!!!! Think I prefer your four Tufties and Mandarins in flight Hazy lol. and it has to be a type of Tern surely, waiting for the fish to be delivered. Lovely.

Yesterday had a true feeling and taste of hope that Spring is around the corner - the banks of the lanes around hope are full of daffs about to flower and Snowdrops already carpeting them. There is something heart lifting about them
