Time to start this year's thread of odds and sods (Last year's Odds & Sods HERE)
Today a large flock of 40 or so Redwings descended on the fields around our local parkland and although they were pretty skittish and distant I hard cropped a few pics for you ....
and a blue tit landed nearby !

A parcel (?) of oystercatchers at low(ish) tide yesterday. The group was larger than this. I hadn't seen such a number together before but that is probably because I wasn't paying attention!

Spotted on a walk yesterday. Until a few weeks ago, I didn't know there were any in the area. Now that I know what to look for (thanks to people here), I have seen them a few times, although they don't always pose for photos like this one did.
